Sweethearts by Sara Zarr..

Jennifer and Cameron Quick were both outcasts, at least until they met each other. From the beginning of primary school until the end of intermediate they knew each other better than they knew themselves.  Then Cameron left. He does that. This is a story about true friendship and how it really shapes our lives. It is also about how people can let you down and how you can move forward.

If you like Sara Dessen books you will love this book too.
It has a lovely pastel cover and it is a nice book to read over a couple of days. You could read it in a couple of hours but it has quite a slow start which is hard to get into. The first third or so stays like that and is kind of boring, after that it become truly interesting and you really want to know how it ends.

I give this book 7/10.
In hindsight I did enjoy the book, however the start was slow and the ending was sadly dissatisfying.
I don't think you will regret reading this book. It is still enjoyable.
